
Houston authorities are on the lookout for an armed suspect involved in a convenience store robbery in West Houston, as reported by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division.
The incident unfolded on the night of October 26, 2024, when a man walked into a convenience store on the 4900 block of Weslayan around 9:30 pm. The suspect, described as a black male approximately 6'3" with a large build, was reported to have approached the counter, brandished a handgun with his left hand, and swiftly demanded cash from the store clerk. Upon receiving the money, the individual hastily left the store on foot, evading capture, according to the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division.
Further to the suspect's physical description, he was said to be wearing a gray shirt and black shorts during the time of the robbery. The Houston PD has assigned case number 1505287-24 to the investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
