A hit-and-run crash occurred on a recent evening at 8300 West F.M. 1960, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Tyler Hessong last Friday around 7:30 p.m. According to a City of Houston press release, Hessong was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Hessong, a male pedestrian, was struck by a vehicle, the make and model of which, along with the driver's location, remain unknown. He was found in the roadway, outside of a crosswalk. The driver fled the scene without offering assistance. The Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived quickly, but despite their efforts, Hessong could not be revived. This information was provided by HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Richards and Officer C. Ballard as part of the ongoing investigation.
