Houston police are on the lookout for three individuals in relation to a shooting that left Adam Broomfield, 33, dead on February 3 at approximately 9:45 p.m. on the 4500 block of Pershing Street. Identified by the authorities as persons of interest are Teddrick Hawkins, 24, and Demetrius Jackson, 19, along with a third, a 15-year-old juvenile male, as detailed in a news release.
Following the incident, officers found Mr. Broomfield at a nearby gas station on Cullen Boulevard, suffering from a gunshot wound and, despite being promptly transported to Ben Taub General Hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics he was pronounced dead the suspect(s) involved in the shooting were reported to have fled in a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck bearing Minnesota license plates LBD-112 and the Houston Police Department's Homicide Division detectives, W. Huff and J. Nguyen, are actively conducting the investigation.
Photos of Hawkins and Jackson have been disseminated by the Police Department in hopes that the public may provide assistance in locating them.
