In a recent altercation in Houston's 13100 block of Stonefield Drive, a woman has been detained following the alleged use of an electroshock weapon during a neighborhood dispute. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched yesterday, in response to reports of a disturbance. The female at the center of the conflict was identified as Janeen Okorie, who is now facing charges for Aggravated Assault.
A social media post from Constable Herman's office provided details of the incident, stating that Okorie had a verbal altercation with her neighbor before escalating the situation by using a taser. The incident resulted in pain and injury, leading to Okorie's arrest and booking at the Harris County Jail. Her bond was set at $100.00 by County Court 5.
Constable Mark Herman's office is encouraging residents to download the "C4 NOW" mobile app, which provides live feeds on local crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic updates in the area.
