All-Stars Victor Wembanyama, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Davis were sidelined, and referee Sean Wright left in the first quarter with a leg injury. The Spurs lost their third straight game, with Harrison Barnes scoring 29 points and Keldon Johnson adding 28. Devin Vassell and Johnson moved to sixth and seventh on the franchise's all-time 3-pointers list, with Vassell's first 3-pointer of the game securing his position, as reported by TSN.
Kessler Edwards, who had stitches under his left eyebrow from a previous injury, "Edwards drained two free throws with 45.5 seconds remaining to put Dallas up 127-123," after being fouled by Devin Vassell, as stated by Fox San Antonio. San Antonio went 14 for 24 from the free-throw line. The teams will play again on Wednesday in San Antonio.
