The nostalgia wave is real. Folks and the Jonas Brothers are riding it to Pittsburgh. Announced with the subtlety of a pop rock chorus, the Grammy-nominated group is bringing their "JONAS20: Living the Dream" tour to PPG Paints Arena on Nov. 12, as confirmed by CBS News Pittsburgh. Celebrating two decades of their musical brotherhood, the tour is touted as a “powerful, full-circle celebration of their 20-year journey from performing in malls to headlining the biggest stadiums in the world,” according to Live Nation.
In what could only be described as an ambitious victory lap, the tour boasts dedicated sets not only from the band's collective discography but also from Nick Jonas & the Administration, Nick Jonas' solo career, Joe Jonas' solo work, DNCE, and an "unforgettable headlining performance from the Jonas Brothers," CBS News Pittsburgh reported. But the pop punching doesn't end there. The All-American Rejects will draw in the crowds as a primary supporting act in Pittsburgh, with popular DJ and EDM artist Marshmello amplifying 10 stadium shows of the tour.
“Our fans have been with us through every chapter, and this tour is our way of honoring them, the memories we've made, and the ones we'll create together," the Jonas Brothers expressed in a statement detailed by WTAE. Indeed, the trio sets out to craft the night into a communal celebration, ensuring it will be "our biggest, most unforgettable tour yet."
General ticket sales drop March 28 at 10 a.m. Additionally, the tour is designed to indulge superfans further with VIP packages offering premium tickets, invites to the pre-show VIP Lounge, and Jonas Brothers-specific swag.
