A serious car accident involving a juvenile driver and a passenger in downtown Pittsburgh resulted in critical injuries and hospitalization this morning. According to WPXI, the accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on the Boulevard of the Allies, between Wood Street and Smithfield Street, where the vehicle slammed into three parked cars.

The emergency response team, which included the police, fire department, and medics, found the vehicle and worked to extricate the two juveniles. Officials stated that, as per WTAE, the male driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition with a broken pelvis and two broken legs, and the female passenger was described as stable after being transported for evaluation.
