
The County of Kaua‘i has announced closures for Prince Kūhiō Day on March 26. Closed facilities include neighborhood centers, the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools, refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, and the Puhi Metals Recycling Center. Most HI5 Recycling Redemption Centers will remain open, except for the Kapa‘a location. More details are available on the County of Kaua‘i’s website.
County offices will be closed for Prince Kūhiō Day, but essential services like residential refuse pick-up and the Kaua‘i Bus will operate as usual. Normal business hours for county offices will resume on March 27, as part of the County of Kaua‘i’s observance of cultural and historical traditions.
