The County of Kaua‘i Housing Agency has announced that the previously scheduled March 6 community workshop for the Waimea 400 Affordable Housing Master Plan project is now set to take place on Thursday, April 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. The gathering, aimed to discuss the development of the affordable housing initiative, will be hosted at the Waimea Canyon Middle School Cafeteria, as per a statement from the County. Interested parties are urged to fill out an RSVP Google Form found on the County of Kauai website, where they can also sign up for regular email updates on the project's progress.
This rearrangement comes as part of the County's ongoing efforts to keep the community actively engaged and informed about the development of the Waimea 400 site. The workshop putatively aims to not only share updates but also to present a conceptual plan that has been refined by the input collected during the first two workshops.
