Those looking to avoid restricted areas are encouraged to check the course maps available on the event website to plan their routes, similar to how runners will map out their races.
Some streets will experience temporary changes during the event. Lakeshore Plaza Drive and parts of Lake Street will be affected, with closures occurring as the race progresses. Those traveling in these areas should note that closure times will vary from early morning until the last runner passes. Road closures include Southbound Lake Street between Kirkland Avenue and 2nd Avenue S from 8:55 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m., as well as Eastbound Kirkland Avenue and a section of 9th Street during similar morning hours.
