Following a months-long investigation by the La Vergne Police Department, 31-year-old Dajuion Shaw has been arrested on charges that include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and drug-related offenses. WKRN reported that detectives began looking into Shaw's activities in January and executed a search warrant at his home on Quiet Lane last Thursday.
The search led to the seizure of 1.5 pounds of marijuana, a gun, and over $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds, according to WSMV. Shaw faces several charges stemming from the confiscation of these items, including maintaining a dwelling for drug use and tampering with evidence.
Meanwhile, a different figure of the amount of marijuana seized was reported by FOX 17, which claimed detectives found .5 lbs of marijuana. Shaw's charges include possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, maintaining a dwelling for drug use, tampering with evidence, manufacture/delivery/sale of a schedule VI, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently held on a $24,500 bond at Rutherford County Jail.
