If you've been looking to get your swing on with one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, then you're in luck. Lake Lynn Community Center is now offering Pickleball Clinics for both beginners and seasoned players looking to sharpen their skills. The clinics will be taught by none other than Bruce Blankenhorn, a certified USA Pickleball ambassador and instructor who's fully equipped to guide you through the ins and outs of the game, as per the City of Raleigh's release.

For novices stepping onto the court, the Beginner Lessons are crafted to lay down the foundational aspects of pickleball. As the City of Raleigh reported, attendees will be walked through the rules and assisted in developing essential competencies. Each session promises a blend of warmups, interactive discussions, skill demonstrations, and actual playtime so players can put their new knowledge into action—aiding them in becoming more adept on the court.

Meanwhile, those who have already nailed down the basics and hit the courts with some regularity can join the Intermediate/Experienced Lessons. These sessions are designed for those who know the shotgun blast of rules and have a basic competency, but now aim to elevate their game. Participants can expect a similar structure with the added bonus of diving deeper into strategies and tactics that could make a significant difference in performance levels.

With clinics occurring on Wednesdays, the sessions are structured with beginners meeting from 9 to 10:45 a.m., while the intermediate and experienced players get their chance from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Regardless of your skill level, signing up comes with a fee – $25 for Residents and $40 for Non-Residents per clinic. Don't forget, these opportunities are only open to those aged 18 and over.

So, whether you're just starting out or looking to add some finesse to your game, the Lake Lynn Community Center seems to be the place to be. Get ready to serve, volley, and smash your way through your next pickleball challenge.
