Mark your calendars for a fun-filled educational extravaganza at Lake Lynn Community Center and Park, because on May 12, the Little Sprouts Spring Celebration is kicking off for the first time. This event, crafted with pre-kindergarten minds in focus, is an ode to Spring. As the leaves unfurl and the flowers blossom, children aged 3 to 5 and their families are invited to experience a morning of playful activities and seasonal crafts.
It isn't just a chance to bask in the rebirth of nature, there's also a treasure hunt of sorts — a nature scavenger hunt that promises to keep the little ones engaged with the world around them, while supplies lasts. And for the young book lovers, the Leesville Library is bringing storytelling to life with two sessions scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Although registration is not mandatory, space is limited and those interested are encouraged to sign up in advance to secure their spot.
The event, which is free to the public, sets its stage at Lake Lynn Park, welcoming young learners to indulge in the joyous season from 10 a.m. to noon. Information about the event was published today on the City of Raleigh website, detailing the various activities planned for attendees.
