In what was a routine traffic stop in Randall, MN, Morrison County Sheriff's deputies uncovered a sizable amount of illegal drugs. The incident occurred on Monday, just after twilight, as a deputy stopped a vehicle at the crossroads of Highway 10 and Highway 115 due to equipment violations. The individuals in question, identified as Jennifer Weber, 39, and John Moore Jr., 41, both residents of Le Sueur, MN, were subsequently found to be in possession of narcotics.

Upon further inspection, spurred by the deputy's trained eye for drug activity, a K9 unit was brought in to search the vehicle. The canine's involvement led to the discovery of 92 grams of what is suspected to be Methamphetamine, alongside several Oxycodone pills. A statement by Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen praised the deputies and their K9 counterparts for their unwavering efforts in ridding the streets of dangerous drugs, reiterating the indispensable role the K9s play in combating drug trafficking.

The two apprehended individuals were transported to the Morrison County Jail. They are currently being held pending formal charges for 1st-degree possession of a controlled substance.
