Yesterday, the Lebanon Police Department arrived at Dix Motor Lodge following reports of gunfire to find an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound; he was transported to a Nashville hospital, treated, and has since returned home. Officials have arrested Ronald Trevitt III in connection with the shooting, now facing four counts of aggravated assault, and with preliminary findings suggesting that this violent outbreak stemmed from a dispute among the motel's occupants, the situation seems to be an isolated one, according to coverage from WSMV.
In a separate report provided by WKRN, the shooting at Dix's Plaza Motor Lodge resulted in a sizeable police turnout as investigators were summoned to the scene to aid in the fact-finding mission. Although initially there were multiple suspects, only Ronald Trivett III's arrest was later confirmed; the young man stands accused of four counts of aggravated assault as investigators continue to dissect the chain of events leading up to the injurious episode.
A social media dispatch from the Lebanon Police Department highlighted that the incident, which took place last Friday, involved the motel's residents and reiterated Trivett's arrest and charges. The post emphasized the ongoing nature of the investigation while extending gratitude towards the officers and detectives’ rapid and concerted efforts, as per the Lebanon Police Department.
