The incident occurred on the 2100 block of Uecker Dr, where multiple individuals were reported to be unconscious.
According to a social media post from the Lewisville Police Department, the call for service came in at 11:36 PM on Wednesday. Officers and fire personnel arrived promptly, evacuating the entire building to ensure the safety of all residents due to the seriousness of the situation.
Throughout the emergency, three individuals were transported to a local medical facility for evaluation. The cause of the carbon monoxide buildup was identified as a shifted stack in the utility room, which the emergency response teams on the scene promptly corrected.
After verifying the air quality levels were safe, residents could return to their homes a few hours later, ensuring everyone's well-being.
