As the city preps for a day full of festivity, they've called for volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly. According to an official City of Lewisville website announcement, volunteers aged 14 and up can sign up to contribute to the free, family-friendly celebration that honors both St. Patrick's Day and Texas Independence Day.
Variety is the spice of life, and this event promises to offer diverse roles and shits for those willing to lend a hand. Lewisville is seeking volunteers to assist with activities ranging from carnival-type games for children to helping with food and beverage concessions. Setting the stage for a day of cultural fusion, the McTeggart Irish Dance students are slated to open the event with their performance at 1 p.m. on the City Hall stage. They will be followed by a lineup that includes Late to the Station, Beyond the Pale, Dustin Perkins Band, Real Treble, and Pride – a U2 Tribute Band.
