Available now, residents and visitors alike can show off their town pride with an assortment of commemorative items. As reported by the City of Lewisville's official announcement, the selection includes everything from mugs and ducks to t-shirts and pet bowls.
Those looking to collect a piece of Lewisville history can find these keepsakes at a variety of local spots. The Lewisville Visitor Information Center, located at 247 W. Main St., offers these items Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For early risers or late shoppers, Thrive at 1950 S. Valley Parkway has extended hours, opening Monday to Thursday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday until 8 p.m., and over the weekend, they're open Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Lewisville Public Library, situated at 1197 W. Main St., also houses the merchandise from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and shorter hours on Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Price-conscious consumers will appreciate that the sales tax is included in the purchase price. White or green mugs will set you back $10 each, while the ducks are priced at an affordable $3 each. For those interested in apparel, t-shirts are available for $20, and hats for an even $10 – the same price as both the ornaments and the pet bowls.
