Last Saturday, residents in the vicinity of the 400 block of W Round Grove Rd witnessed an uptick in police activity as the Lewisville Police Department (LPD) swiftly moved to conduct an operation in the area. The operation began at around 8:30 PM, as the LPD announced via social media a presence of personnel would be on the scene.
Residents were urged to avoid the area for the duration of the operation. The public was reassured, "There is no danger to the public," as mentioned in Lewisville Police Department's initial post.
The Lewisville Police Department promised to provide updates "once more information is available." By 9:11 PM, an update confirmed that the operation was completed. Officers were expected to remain in the vicinity, though "most of our personnel will be leaving the area."
