Lewisville's Police Department has bolstered its leadership ranks, swearing in two new sergeants to reinforce their commitment to community service. The department extended a warm welcome to Sgt. Chi and Sgt. Dority, whose promotions were publicly showcased in a social media announcement, the department's way of inviting the residents they vow to serve into a collective acknowledgement of their leaders' steps forward.

The announcement posted on Lewisville Police Department's Facebook page yesterday not only informed the public about the new sergeants but also highlighted the qualities that facilitated their ascent: "Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving our community make them outstanding additions to our supervisory team," as the department put it.
