
During a late-night traffic stop at 11:26 p.m., the Galt Police Department pulled over a Toyota Tacoma for a suspected moving violation. The driver, identified as Kenneth Arnold of Lodi, was found with narcotic paraphernalia in plain sight upon the officers' approach. A subsequent search led to the seizure of firearms and narcotics, as reported by the Galt Police Department.
The Galt Police Department shared in a Facebook post that a search of Arnold's vehicle uncovered an unregistered Glock handgun with four fully loaded 17-round magazines. In addition to the firearm, substances believed to be psilocybin, methamphetamine, a variety of prescription pills, and other drug paraphernalia were found.
According to the Galt Police Department on their Facebook page, Kenneth Arnold was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges related to firearms and narcotics. The arrest followed a traffic stop that led to the discovery of further criminal activity. Details about his court dates and specific charges have not been released.
