In a social media dispatch, the office announced that James Douglas Meadows, a 37-year-old man, had been taken into custody without any incident. Meadows, who was wanted on a warrant, is no longer a concern for residents and law enforcement personnel who had been scouring the area around Russia Road between SR 58 and Annis Road.
The community had been on alert previously as news of the search spread following the initial post by the sheriff's office. The suspect was described as being approximately 5’7” tall and weighing around 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
