
Early morning on March 8th saw the Los Angeles Fire Department responding to a blaze at a Mission Hills home, according to an initial LAFD alert. The incident, logged as INC#0383, began at approximately 7:25 AM at a single-story residence located at 14600 Maclay St. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find moderate flames consuming the garage, with reports indicating at least one individual was trapped inside.
A subsequent LAFD alert announced the successful extinguishment of the fire. Firefighters coordinated interior and roof operations to rescue two victims, a 60-year-old female and a 34-year-old male, indicating that both were in fair condition following the ordeal. The fire reached "knockdown" status in a mere 21 minutes, a testament to the swift and effective response of the 50 firefighters who attended the scene.
Teams from Battalion 12 and nearby fire stations, including Stations 75 and 98 amongst others, contributed to the mission.
