St. Patrick's Day might typically be associated with green clothing, parades, and pub crawls, but for some lucky individuals in the Delaware Valley, it was all about the green they won. Two Pennsylvania Lottery players struck gold with $1 million prizes. According to a PHL17 report, one of the winning tickets, a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 with Quick Cash, was sold at Ennie Inc. on Walnut St. in West Philadelphia, with numbers 7-10-18-32-33. On the other side of the Delaware Valley, a Powerball ticket brought fortune, sold at the Wawa on Fairview Road in Woodlyn, with white ball numbers 11-18-23-38-60.
The winning Powerball ticket, which missed the red Powerball number by just a fraction, was one of the two $1 million tickets that made this year's St. Patrick's Day unforgettable for the winners. As reported by FOX 29 News, the Wawa store will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling this winning ticket.
Notably, no one claimed the Powerball jackpot, bumping it to an estimated $416 million for the following Wednesday's drawing, as 6ABC pointed out. The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages winners to visit their website to learn how to claim their prizes.
