Community events featuring nostalgia and friendly competition are set for this weekend in Las Vegas, hosted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD). Families looking for some fun attended the "Blockbuster Bounce Bash" at Pearson Community Center, where they enjoyed an array of bounce houses and interactive inflatables, all free of charge.
In reference to the event, the LVMPD Facebook post invited families to "Bounce into Spring" and promised a variety of food options along with a screening of 'The Lion King' to cap off the evening, beginning at 8:00 p.m., and attendees were reminded to bring a blanket and chair for the outdoor movie experience.
The National Action Network Department Kickball Game takes place today at Lorenzi Park, featuring a matchup between the NAN Youth & Community and First Responders. The game is set to begin at 12:30 p.m. and is expected to continue until around 3:00 p.m. Community members interested in participating were encouraged to check out the flyer for sign-up details.
