
A fatal crash occurred late on Tuesday in West Phoenix, leaving one man dead and another facing DUI charges. According to the Phoenix Police Department, the collision happened near 31st Avenue and Grand. Officers arrived at the scene around 11:00 p.m., where a male worker for a sewer system company was critically injured after a box truck he was working in was struck. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the box truck was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police observed signs of intoxication and processed the driver for DUI.
