An incident took place in east Harris County where a man, believed to be between 50 and 60 years of age, died after driving his vehicle into a river, as confirmed by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. According to KHOU, the event was first reported early this morning in the vicinity of 7 1/2 Street near the River Glenn community, which lies close to the San Jacinto River.
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the incident at the 11900 block of 7 1/2 Street, the scene where the tragedy unfolded and where the man's car was discovered submerged. He was pronounced deceased on scene. A report by the Sheriff's Office on X detailed the deputies' arrival and subsequent findings.
