In the early morning hours just before the break of dawn, a man lost his life after a fight escalated into gunfire outside an after-hours club in South Houston. According to FOX 26 Houston, the incident occurred in a parking lot at 8300 Gulf Freeway around 3:56 a.m. The confrontation that started inside the club spilled outside, where the unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact details surrounding the altercation remain unclear as Houston Police dive further to investigate the case. Several individuals were detained by the authorities, in a concerted effort to learn more details about what happened and to possibly identify the shooter. As per Click2Houston, the shooting broke out following an argument that ensued as patrons were leaving the nightclub.
