
As heavy rains led to dangerous flooding in San Juan Capistrano, a dramatic rescue unfolded Thursday morning when a man's car was swept into a creek, prompting a rapid response from local fire crews. According to FOX LA, firefighters and paramedics received a call just after 9:40 a.m. and swiftly arrived at Trabuco Creek and Rosenbaum roads to find a vehicle lodged against trees amid a quickly moving creek.

A harrowing situation developed as the SUV, with the unidentified man inside, was pinned against a tree while the creek filled with raging water. NBC Los Angeles reported that rescuers implemented a "swift water rescue response." An individual was hoisted to safety via helicopter by the Orange County Fire Authority, escaping without serious injuries. The fire department urged caution, stating, "We strongly encourage everyone to stay clear of all moving water."
