Described as about 5-feet-11 and 260 pounds with a light complexion and heavy build, the hooded figure was captured by surveillance video. Clad in a gray hoodie, black sweatpants, a blue hat, and gray sneakers, the suspect covered his face with a white surgical mask as he carried out the vandalism. In the aftermath of his actions, he was observed fleeing uptown on Seventh Ave. and disappearing into the subway at W. 33rd St., based on the description provided by the New York Daily News.
While the NYPD investigates this disruption, they are concurrently seeking suspects in additional crime patterns affecting Manhattan.
