A young female reddish-brown Pitbull was found roaming without a collar, tags, or a microchip near the intersection of 4th Street and Cherry Street in Mankato, Minnesota, the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government reported on social media last Saturday.
The dog was taken to the City of Mankato Impound inside Sibley Park, located at 903 Mound Avenue. The Facebook post, which asked for the community's assistance in tracking down the owner, stated that anyone who believes they could identify the dog or has any information regarding its owner should immediately contact Public Safety or advise the owner to do so.
To reclaim the lost canine, residents are instructed to reach out to Public Safety by dialing 911 and making arrangements for pick-up; the efforts to return the dog to her home reflect an enduring commitment to the well-being of the local pet community.
