According to an announcement on the Marysville government website, audiences can expect a trip down memory lane with performances replicating the original artists' iconic styles and hits.
First on the lineup is 'Madman Across the Water: The Music of Elton John,' scheduled for Friday, April 18, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Fans of Sir Elton's unique blend of pop and rock are in for a treat as hit songs like "Rocket Man" and "Tiny Dancer" fill the room. The tribute act is noted for their attention to detail, from the iconic costumes right down to the grand piano work, ensuring an authentic experience that mirrors the enthusiasm and energy, Sir Elton is known for.
The following month, 'Chicago Tribute Authority Seattle Band' will take the stage on Friday, May 9, also between 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The band is set to honor the original's distinctive jazz-rock fusion with powerful brass and harmonious vocals. As reported by the Marysville government website, expect to hear renditions of classics such as "If You Leave Me Now" and "Saturday in the Park," promising an evening that recaptures the soulful sound and energy of Chicago.
