
Two Massachusetts men are facing serious drug and weapons charges following a comprehensive investigation by the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit. Kelvin Diolisel Lopez Perez, 28, from Dorchester, and Christopher Antonio Guzman De Los Santos, 23, from Dedham, were apprehended during a traffic stop in Concord yesterday. They stand accused of dealing substantial quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
According to the official report from the New Hampshire State Police, the arrests were the culmination of a months-long investigation targeting suspected narcotics trafficking. The two were charged with controlled sales of fentanyl greater than 5 ounces and, controlled sales of methamphetamine greater than 5 ounces. Additionally, Guzman De Los Santos has been charged with the felonious use of a firearm.
The state troopers' search during the operation led to the seizure of over 2 pounds of methamphetamine and approximately 400 grams of fentanyl, along with an illicit firearm. These substances represent a significant threat to public safety, as fentanyl is known for its extreme potency and contributes to a high number of overdose deaths across the nation.
Following their arrest, Lopez Perez and Guzman De Los Santos were held pending arraignment, scheduled for today in Concord District Court.
