The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) recently announced an upcoming open house to present its plans to improve the entrance plaza leading to the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron. According to CBS News Detroit, the event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the Blue Water Bridge Annex, located at 2127 11th Ave., Port Huron.
MDOT plans to relocate the eastbound I-94/I-69 exit to M-25 (Pine Grove Avenue), reconfigure the 10th Avenue/Pine Grove Avenue intersection, and rebuild eastbound I-94/I-69 at the MDOT maintenance facility location. Furthermore, the implementation of noise walls has been set along the eastbound I-94/I-69 exit to Pine Grove Avenue, as well as along Garfield Street on the ramp to westbound I-94/I-69 Business Loop (BL) south to the Black River Bridge, as detailed by Michigan Department of Transportation's announcement.
