
Sharon Daugherty, a six-year veteran of the Washington Metropolitan Police Department, serves as a Community Outreach Coordinator in the Victim Services Branch. Washington Metropolitan Police Department recently recognized her work in community outreach on social media as part of Women’s History Month.
An Washington Metropolitan Police Department Facebook post detailed Daugherty’s work in community engagement, public safety, and building relationships with the community. It stated that “compassion, support, and strength go hand in hand” and recognized Women’s History Month as a time to honor leadership. The post also mentioned the importance of representation in outreach roles for future generations.
