
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast D.C. that occurred late Saturday night. Officers responded to a call at 11:02 p.m. in the 3300 block of 10th Place, Southeast, where they found an unresponsive young adult male. D.C. Fire and EMS transported the victim to a local hospital, but 18-year-old Jose Walters was later pronounced dead, as per the Metropolitan Police Department release.
No suspect descriptions or vehicle details have been provided. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
