The Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public for help identifying a suspect in a recent shooting in Southeast D.C. The incident caused property damage but no injuries.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department official release, the shooting occurred on February 23 in the 2700 block of Jasper Street, southeast. Officers responded to the scene around 11:10 a.m. and found damaged property. The victim was not injured. The suspect reportedly fired at the victim after leaving a residence and fled the scene.
