Miami-Dade Transit is preparing for the 2025 Ultra Music Festival at Bayfront Park, encouraging attendees to use public transit instead of driving. According to a recent release from the Miami-Dade County website, extended Metrorail and Metromover hours will be in place to accommodate the festival crowds.

The festival runs during the last weekend of March, and transit services will be extended from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday services ending at midnight. The extended hours aim to make travel easier for festivalgoers.

Trains on the Green and Orange Lines will run every 30 minutes, providing a combined frequency of 15 minutes between Earlington Heights and Dadeland South Stations. The Orange Line offers a direct connection from Miami International Airport to the Government Center station downtown for those flying in.

Transfers from Metrorail to the Metromover’s Inner Loop will be available, with the closest stations to the festival being College/Bayside, First Street, and Bayfront Park. One-way Metrorail tickets are $2.25, and a One-Day Pass costs $5.65.

For ease of payment, Miami-Dade Transit recommends using an EASY Card or mobile apps. Contactless payments are also accepted at Metrorail fare gates, though only for US-issued bank cards. Parking at rail stations costs $4.50 for the day, and garages will remain open until services conclude.

Several Metrobus routes, including 3, 9, 203, 100, and 101, will be detoured starting at 9 p.m. Thursday through Monday morning due to the festival. For updates, passengers can check transit alerts or follow Miami-Dade DTPW on social media and sign up for the Mobility 305 newsletter.
