The Miami Gardens Police Department is on the lookout for an assailant involved in the assault of a 67-year-old grocery store worker, Carlton Samuels, which occurred outside the Price Choice food market in Miami Gardens on March 15. The incident, which was captured on surveillance footage, happened as Samuels was pushing a shopping cart before being unexpectedly hit, causing him to fall to the ground, according to WFTV.
The video of the attack shows the assailant striking Samuels without warning. The surveillance video provides a clear view of the assailant as the victim was conducting his duty. The worker has continued working since the incident yet is urging customers to remain vigilant.
