Michael Lohan, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, has once again found himself in the grips of the law, this time for a probation violation arrest in Palm Beach County, Florida. According to Local10, sheriff's deputies booked him into jail Sunday evening. The arrest ties back to Lohan's prior run-ins concerning patient brokering charges at a drug treatment center.

Reports reveal that Lohan's latest brush with the law is directly linked to a domestic violence incident in Harris County, Texas, on February 22nd. According to WESH, he had previously been sentenced to 48 months of probation due to his guilty plea for patient brokering in 2022. This probation was slated to expire on June 28, 2026, but the recent events have precipitated a serious setback.

At his bond hearing, where Lohan was denied bond by Judge Daliah H. Weiss, the alleged victim of the domestic violence, Kate Lohan, appeared via Zoom, expressing fear for her safety. Lohan's attorney, Robert Gershman, countered that he had evidence his client did not commit the alleged crime in Texas.

Palm Beach County Jail records indicate that Lohan was arrested on a charge related to violating his probation and is expected to make a court appearance on April 16th. He remains held at the Palm Beach County Main Detention Center.
