Missing for over a week, Edgar Santana of Lilburn has been found. The search that began when Santana’s family reported him missing on March 24 ended as he was confirmed to be safe, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. Previously, there was concern that he had traveled to Decatur, but details on his location during the disappearance or the circumstances of his discovery have not been released.
Last seen on March 17, Santana fittingly had dark hair, brown eyes, and multiple distinctive tattoos, including the named "Francisca" and the letter "S" on his left arm, and on the right, "Santina", a flaming skull with the number eight and the letter "E." Standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds, his last known attire included an orange coat, a black plaid shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
The Gwinnett County Police had urged the public to assist in locating Santana and issued a statement yesterday requesting information. Community members were encouraged to call 911 if they had any leads on the whereabouts of the missing 28-year-old.
