Johnson, the 11-year-old boy reported missing yesterday, has been found and is safe. The Milwaukee Police Department gratefully acknowledged the public's assistance in locating the young boy on their official Facebook page.
Earlier reports indicated that Johnson had last been seen yesterday, wearing a distinct red, white, and blue hooded sweatshirt, along with black jeans and black shoes accented with white stripes. Standing just a shade under five feet and weighing 55 pounds, the youngster with brown eyes and an afro hairstyle had last been spotted on the 5400 block of N. 83rd Street, according to the official police report.
The search for Erick L. Johnson catalyzed a collaborative effort from the community, with the Milwaukee Police District 4 disseminating urgent appeals for public assistance. Their calls to action circulated widely, imploring anyone with information to contact them at 414-935-7242.
