
The Metropolitan Police Department is requesting public assistance following a robbery incident in Southeast D.C. According to an official MPD release, the event unfolded on the evening of January 29, when individuals approached and assaulted a victim on the 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast, before making off with the victim's jacket and other personal property. The time was approximately 7:10 p.m.
The suspects in question, who were caught on nearby surveillance cameras, have had their images circulated by the MPD in the hopes that someone might recognize them and come forward. Information provided that leads to the arrest and indictment of those involved in the robbery could earn the informant a monetary reward. The MPD has pledged up to $1,000 for tips that substantiate the capture of the responsible parties,
