LVMPD's social media post announced the winners, highlighting K9 Axl from Maricopa County Sheriff's Office as "Top Dog" and celebrating K9 Storm from Culver City PD for earning the title of "Tough Dog."
Appreciation was extended towards the event's sponsors and the supportive community which contributed to the successful event; additionally, the LVMPD encouraged viewers to relive the event's thrilling moments through photo highlights shared online. On the other hand, a post from NLVPD flaunted their K-9 unit's remarkable achievements with several of their officers placing in various categories, the impressive roster included Officer Kepner and K9 Lombe grabbing 4th place in Narcotics Vehicle Officer Odoms and K9 Ciro securing 3rd place for Top Dog and in Building searches, Officer Friedman and K9 Bolt taking 2nd place in Vehicle Narcotics, and Officer Lamb with K9 Hero capturing 2nd in TAC OB and 3rd in Handler Protection.
These trials showcase the strong training and teamwork between handlers and their K9s, highlighting their crucial role in law enforcement.
