
The New York Police Department is currently searching for an individual connected to an assault that took place inside the Roosevelt Ave subway station in Queens. According to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers, last Saturday, a 72-year-old victim was assaulted while walking up the staircase of the northbound F-train platform.
The victim, whose identity has been withheld for privacy, was reportedly kicked from behind by the suspect; this unexpected attack resulted in the elderly individual falling and sustaining an injury, the nature of which has been undisclosed by the authorities at this time, police are looking for the public's help to apprehend the suspect described as having been pictured in the NYPD's release of surveillance images following the incident. In an effort to encourage public assistance, NYPD Crimestoppers has announced a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.
