Authorities are currently seeking information on two cyclists who brutally assaulted a pedestrian in Manhattan last October. The New York Police Department's Crimestoppers program has released details about the incident, which occurred within the 20th Precinct's jurisdiction near West 82nd Street and Central Park West. According to the crime report, the two assailants attacked a 45-year-old man on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, around 5:55 p.m., leaving him with multiple head and facial lacerations.

As detailed by the NYPD Crimestoppers in a social media post, one of the cyclists apparently used his bike as a weapon to strike the victim several times in the head. This alarming act of violence in broad daylight has prompted a call for the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspects. The NYPD has announced a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible. 

The NYPD has not released descriptions of the suspects, and they remain unidentified. The department is urging the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small it may seem, that could assist in locating the perpetrators.
