The weather is set to quickly turn, however, with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 9pm tonight, followed by gradual clearing and lows around 48 degrees. The southeast wind should to stubbornly persist between 11 to 16 mph, gusting as high as 24 mph, and the chance of precipitation cranks up to 70%. Onto Monday, locals can anticipate patchy fog before 11am before the skies become mostly cloudy, with highs soaring up near 73.
Heading into Monday night, the NWS predicts "a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight," followed by an 80% chance of showers and potentially a thunderstorm between midnight and the early morning hours. The soundtrack to your dreams could well be the rhythm of rain against your window, given the forecast for showers after 3am and lows dipping to around 53 degrees.
For those with Tuesday plans, it's a coin flip on whether you'll need to carry an umbrella; there's a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly sunny skies, and the temperatures are predicted to climb high near 62. The South southwest winds should continue to show off, "17 to 24 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon" with the possibility of gusts hitting as high as 37 mph.
