Bradenton Police Department is currently investigating a deadly incident that occurred early Sunday morning at Rossi Park, part of the Bradenton Riverwalk area. A call about shots fired came in just after 4 a.m., leading officers to the scene where they discovered three individuals with gunshot wounds, as reported by ABC Action News.
Upon arriving at the park, emergency services rendered aid and promptly transported the victims to nearby hospitals. It was later confirmed by authorities that one of the individuals succumbed to their injuries. The other two victims are currently receiving medical treatment, according to information obtained by WTSP.
Bradenton police confirmed they have two suspects in custody, with evidence suggesting that at least two people exchanged gunfire during the incident. As the investigation unfolds, detectives with the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit are in the process of questioning multiple witnesses to piece together the events that led to the shooting, as detailed by a WFLA report.
