
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking assistance from the public in locating Yarynett Roman-Melendez, a 53-year-old woman who has been missing since late January. Officials report that Roman-Melendez was last seen near Kumquat Road on January 28.
Described as a Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes, she stands 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds. In a recent appeal, Sheriff Marcos R. Lopez urged anyone with any information that might aid the search to step forward.
The sheriff's office asks anyone with information regarding her disappearance to contact them at 407-348-2222 or dial 911 without hesitation. The information is mirrored in an online notice shared by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, which included a plea for help from the community.
