Over 100 Firefighters Quell Blaze at Bronx Animal Hospital, No Injuries Reported

Last night, a blaze took hold of an animal hospital in Fordham, the Bronx, calling over 100 fire department personnel into action. The fire ignited around 8:39 p.m. at the Armory Dog and Cat Hospital, according to the News 12 The Bronx. The FDNY swiftly responded to a fire that broke out on the first floor of a building at 18 East Kingsbridge Road, working in a coordinated effort to control the blaze.

Strategically engaged, more than 100 fire personnel raced to the scene, as mentioned by ABC7NY. Their battle against the fire stretched across over 20 units tasked with containing the blaze that had managed to grip the three-story structure. Getting all the animals out safely appeared to have been a priority for the crews amid the emergency response.
